The success of this endeavor has really been made possible by one family. They live part-time close by in Narok. The remaining time they operate an amazing eco-lodge, Amani Mara – located in the Masai Mara. Its three hours away from the Children’s Home.
It was Shelina’s suggestion that started all of this. She urged us to leave our gifts with the home.
Since then, her help has been invaluable. She has partnered with us in purchasing food, supplies, repairs. Setting up internet access , delivering computers, arranging birthday parties and other celebrations. Amani Mara is our headquarters when we visit Kenya. Ashif, her husband, Sully and Sam, their sons, have been solid support for our work as well.
