This is now March, 2022. On a recent visit to the Children’s home Shelina was helped by a little girl. Shelina had brought treats (as she always does) and the children are eager and willing to unload the car of the goodies.

In this process, the little girl asked Shelina “does Christmas come every year?”

“Why do you ask” said Shelina. “Did you get something special at Christmas?“

The little girl answered “yes, I got a beautiful dress and NEW shoes!”

“Well yes, I believe Christmas does come every year” assured Shelina.

The little girl skipped off happily dreaming of the next Christmas!

It points out how much we take for granted, and how much small acts of kindness are treasured by those who have so little.
