Sometimes we stop and realize that our project is not just about providing educational and financial support to a group of children so far away. A recent request to bring a gift from a penpal in California to Kenya made me realize the personal connections, especially of the children, often outweigh our other efforts.

And the geography page points out what a huge distance it is between the two girls … yet one feels the love.
